Where to stream the WWE in Canada

Today is the day, people. WWE’s SmackDown moves from Wednesdays to Tuesdays starting tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, and it will now air live each week, with replays on Friday nights.

To kick off tonight’s live show, the WWE will host a draft, with GM’s Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan building their rosters for Raw and SmackDown.

Let’s celebrate, shall we?

The WWE has one of the most rabid, young and dedicated fan bases. There’s no such thing as a “casual” fan—only the hardcore. They are a force to be reckoned with, yet often feel disrespected. To this point, fans have had no reliable way to watch content every week if they don’t have cable. How does that make sense? With 70 percent of the WWE’s audience being under 50 years old it seems like, based on demographic, a good percentage wouldn’t have cable.

So, to fix this dilemma for the millions (and millions) of wrestling fans out there, we give you an alternative. A new way to stay up-to-date on the antics of Roman Reigns, John Cena, Sasha Banks, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and all your other favourites. We give you…

Sportsnet NOW™, a new monthly subscription service.

At $24.99 per month, Sportsnet NOW allows you unlimited streaming of six Sportsnet channels, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in full HD. Think of it like Netflix, only for sports (for a full look at what content you get with Sportsnet NOW click here).

This means you can FINALLY live-stream Monday Night RAW, Tuesday Night SmackDown, Aftermath, Experience and Main Event without the hassle. That’s five WWE shows every week, 52 weeks a year. That’s the next best thing to actually being there.

What sorcery is this? Why are we doing such things? Well, as a noble man once said, “Because it’s 2016.”

If you work late, or are out and about and can’t catch it live, we’ve got you covered—there’s a four-hour rewind capability that allows you to stream anything you may have missed.

So stream every match without ever having to worry—see every flying elbow, every leap from the top rope, every chair shot. Sportsnet NOW is here to give you the product you deserve.
