When will leagues resume play?

It is not yet known when play will resume.

Sportsnet remains in regular contact with the leagues as the situation evolves and next steps are determined. We will update our customers with any new information as it becomes available.

  • Bundesliga returns to action the weekend of May 16th, across Sportsnet channels and Sportsnet NOW
  • NRL returns May 28th, across Sportsnet channels and Sportsnet NOW
  • IndyCar is scheduled to return the weekend of June 6th with the Genesys 300

What content will Sportsnet be playing during this time?

Sportsnet continues to have great sports content and will be giving fans a look back at memorable moments in sports with classic NHL, MLB and NBA games plus other fan-favourite sports events. Here are some of the sports events viewers can look forward to:

  • NHL Rewind: NHL Rewind will offer a look back at notable National Hockey League games. These games will be scheduled on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Raptors Rewind: Raptors Rewind will air replays from the Raptors memorable National Basketball Association championship run.
  • MLB Classics: MLB Classics will air every Blue Jays playoff game from 1992 and 1993 and select games from their 2015 and 2016 Major League Baseball playoffs, including the Jose Bautista ”bat flip” game.
